Bay leaves are excellent for preparing digestive and regulating herbal teas, Sicilians have always prepared the famous “canary” made with boiled water with 3 bay leaves and untreated lemon peel after a major meal, a unique drink in the its kind because with its innumerable properties it facilitates digestive processes.
Our laurel is grown organically and is collected and dried only when the leaves are loaded with essential oils which will then release the typical scent.
Also excellent for flavoring meats, roasts, sauces and ragù.
